About Us...

     Luntz, Suleiman & Associates, Inc. (LSA) is a consulting and investment banking firm specializing in the training, education, exposition and information industries.  LSA advises and assists companies seeking to acquire or divest businesses, form strategic alliances, raise venture capital, or prepare for future acquisition.

     LSA was established in 1989 when Jerome D. Luntz, former Senior VP of McGraw-Hill Publishing Company, and Anver Suleiman, founder of The Marketing Federation and The National Center for Database Marketing, two good friends and business associates, brought their combined backgrounds together.  Jerry, from the publishing industry, and Anver from the training and tradeshow industries. 

     It was a natural combination and the new company met with immediate success.  The company flourished, quickly consummating deals for both buyers and sellers.  Ziff-Davis, Blenheim, Miller-Freeman, Advanstar, IIR, etc. were among the early buyers.  Computer Security Institute, Logical Operations, Windows & OS/2, Incoming Call Center Management, were among the early sellers.

     Jerry’s background in M&A work with McGraw-Hill and Anver’s background helping training and tradeshow companies as a strategic business and marketing consultant/teacher/author made them an unbeatable combination.  While the company was headquartered on St. Pete Beach, both Anver & Jerry maintained office apartments in Manhattan, where they both lived previously.  The business continued to grow.  Staff was added, Associates brought on, and a range of other services added:  executive recruitment, consulting, strategic alliances.  Today LSA is headed up by Anver, with Jerry retired, but still involved. 

     LSA Headquarters is managed by Laura Cullinane, Director of Research (with Anver for over 17 years).  Laura brings a wide range of both industry and educational experiences to the mix, managing the company’s extensive database and communications with the press, associations and clients.  Anver’s wife, Cindy Suleiman, organizes special networking events around the country and manages the company’s financial activity.
